We’re excited to welcome the Invasive Species Council, who will share how to identify and manage invasive species on your property. You’ll also hear about the work CAWG is doing to protect and restore our local watershed and discover how you can get involved!
Lend a hand and help us clean up Hyde Creek! Collect litter and receive native wildflower seeds as a thank-you for your efforts. Saturday, June 14th from 12:00 pm - 3:00 pm at Hydes Pond (Pond Street parking lot) and Cornwall Community Gardens (Macarthur Drive).
Dandelion Festival with the Town of Cornwall: Celebrate the beauty of spring with a community picnic! Join in for refreshments, arts and crafts, a community seed swap, and family fun. Saturday, May 24th from 1:00 pm - 4:00 pm at the Cornwall Town Hall.
Canada Day: Stop by, say hello, and celebrate Canada with us! Join us at the Miltonvale Park and Town of Cornwall Canada Day events. We'll be set up with native wildflower seeds and plenty of information about our work.
Striped Bass Fishing Derby: Get ready for this lively event! Join in for some friendly competition and a chance to win a prize for the biggest catch of the night. Monday, July 21st at 7:00 pm at the North River Causeway.
Tour of the Naturalization Gallery: Have you ever toured the Naturalization Gallery at the Terry Fox Sports Centre in Cornwall? Join us as we guide you through the trail, highlighting the Wabanaki-Acadian Forest, Circle of Peace, and Memorial Grove. Saturday, August 2nd from 12:00 pm - 1:00 pm at the Naturalization Gallery (Dream Park parking lot).
