Become a member

Becoming a member of CAWG  directly contributes to protecting the environment, while connecting community members with nature. By becoming a member, you will become more informed on conservation efforts in your area, and receive more opportunities to connect with nature and the community. 

Youth

  • Under 18
  • Free
  • Receive newsletters, event details etc.
  • Gifts when available including: wildflower seeds or native seedlings. 

Individual/Family

  • 18 and over
  • $20 annually
  • Ability to become board member.
  • Ability to vote at annual and special meetings.
  • Receive newsletters, event details etc.
  • Gifts when available including: wildflower seeds or native seedlings. 

Corporate

  • Registered business 
  • $200 annually
  • Acknowledgement of businesses support on our website, social media, AGM and events. 
  • Will receive CAWG promotional sticker outlining businesses support in protecting the environment.
  • Opportunity to collaborate at events.
  • Opportunity to participate in an annual giveaway.
  • Receive newsletters.

Corporate membership Application

Corporate memberships undergo approval from CAWG. Please submit the application below if you are interested in becoming a member.

NO PAYMENT IS NEEDED AT THIS TIME.

2025 Annual General Meeting

We’re excited to welcome the Invasive Species Council, who will share how to identify and manage invasive species on your property. You’ll also hear about the work CAWG is doing to protect and restore our local watershed and discover how you can get involved!

Hyde Creek Cleanup

Lend a hand and help us clean up Hyde Creek! Collect litter and receive native wildflower seeds as a thank-you for your efforts. Saturday, June 14th from 12:00 pm - 3:00 pm at Hydes Pond (Pond Street parking lot) and Cornwall Community Gardens (Macarthur Drive).

Dandelion Festival with the Town of Cornwall: Celebrate the beauty of spring with a community picnic! Join in for refreshments, arts and crafts, a community seed swap, and family fun. Saturday, May 24th from 1:00 pm - 4:00 pm at the Cornwall Town Hall.

Canada Day: Stop by, say hello, and celebrate Canada with us! Join us at the Miltonvale Park and Town of Cornwall Canada Day events. We'll be set up with native wildflower seeds and plenty of information about our work.

Striped Bass Fishing Derby: Get ready for this lively event! Join in for some friendly competition and a chance to win a prize for the biggest catch of the night. Monday, July 21st at 7:00 pm at the North River Causeway.

Tour of the Naturalization Gallery: Have you ever toured the Naturalization Gallery at the Terry Fox Sports Centre in Cornwall? Join us as we guide you through the trail, highlighting the Wabanaki-Acadian Forest, Circle of Peace, and Memorial Grove. Saturday, August 2nd from 12:00 pm - 1:00 pm at the Naturalization Gallery (Dream Park parking lot).
